Spencer Joseph is Here

Well it looks like 11 of you were right on the poll that the baby would come before 12/18.

As many of you know on 12/17 I had yet another doc appt and they found my blood pressure to be high again. So this time they admitted us to the hospital to have the baby. And on....

December 17, 2008 at 7:10 pm

Spencer Joseph Fusillo was brought into the world via c section.

7 lbs. 3.3 oz. 19 1/4 inches long

What a great gift for the holidays. We are all doing fine. Brendan is not 100 % sure about the baby but seems to be hyper to have Spencer home and Daddy home from work.

Adventures with Grandma

Only 4 days to go. Today we went to see Santa at the mall, since the other day we couldn't go because I was in the hospital. We were there for 3 hours on my feet. We stood in line for Santa and Brendan did ok. (See pic) Brendan rode on the train with Grandma. We also took some pics at Bass Pro Shop with the moose.

False Alarm Yesterday

Only 5 days to go. Yesterday I had my 38 week check up and they discovered that my blood pressure was very elevated so they sent me to the Labor & Delivery at the hospital which happens to be next store to do some tests. They finally after bloodwork, an ultrasound (they confirmed it is a BOY), etc. they came back and said everything was fine and that I could go home and come back on Tuesday for my scheduled C Section.

So for now we are just trying to relax. (I was not put on bedrest)

Only 6 days left

Today is my 38 week appt. My feet are very large and unattractive besides that I'm feeling pretty good.

We are taking Brendan to see Santa at the Mall today. I think that Grandma is crazy but that is what she wants to do.

Brendan's ABC Video

Brendan's version of the ABCs.

Only 9 more days. We are trying to get packed and get all the baby items into the correct rooms. It is amazing how one so small could need so many things.

Stone Mountain Park

Well this was one of our Christmas adventures before the baby comes. Brendan loves to ride the train at Stone Mountain and he loved the Christmas lights. He also got to see Santa.

Brendan as Santa

This is Brendan's race car bed and his favorite teddy. The pjs look like Freddy Krueger's shirt, so I had to keep them.

14 Days to Go

I think this is time for the FINAL COUNTDOWN. I have picked out the take home outfits, hopefully he is big enough to fit in one of them. I'm making out my Christmas cards that everyone will receive after the baby is born on 12/18. Other than that I'm feeling pretty good just trying to get the decorations up and finish packing, cleaning, etc.

Next appt. 12/7. I will let you all know how it goes.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

33 Week Appt. Today

Today we had our 33 week appt to check on the baby. Everything is fine and no signs of PreEclampsia. We scheduled the C Section for Dec. 18th at 10 am. So not much longer now. Still no name for the baby but I'm sure we will decide soon.

Halloween and 8 weeks to go

Well I thought maybe we should set up one of these blogs to keep you all informed of things that are going on around here. Brendan is getting big. He is about 29 lbs. now and 2 1/2 years old.

The new baby boy, which we still don't really have a name for, is set to arrive on 12/18/07 if he doesn't come before that. We will be keeping you posted.

Other than all that we had a fun Halloween. Brendan really enjoyed going to the pumpkin patches, winning his first costume contest at Kroger, and trick or treating.

Baby Shower in Atlanta

These are some pics from the great baby shower that Nikki threw for me at her house. Thanks Nikki and everyone else for coming and helping me celebrate this great occasion.
